Lau Moraiti is a children's book illustrator based in Uruguay. Some of the story themes she loves exploring are: the feelings and changes that come with growing up, finding your own path and communites coming to love and accept what may have previously been seen as different. Her aim is to create fun, engaging and adorable characters that make the reader feel cozy at home. Her favorite tools to work with are watercolors and colored pencils because they help her characters and stories feel heartfelt and warm.
